Lisa has an eye for details. You may not notice exactly what has been carefully considered in your space, but you will feel the difference.

A natural problem solver and a planner, Lisa relishes the puzzle work of design. Early in her career, she gained valuable experience in large firms designing and developing detailed construction documents for complex commercial projects. However, a desire for more personal involvement in her projects guided her to launch Christie Architecture with Adam in 2004. 

Lisa can succinctly articulate a vision. She engages with clients to understand their project goals and helps them envision the true potential of a building with a critical eye for lifestyle and intuitive movement. Her seasoned technical expertise greatly benefits clients, ensuring intelligent planning and impeccable design supported by well-considered construction methods.

Above all, success for Lisa is when clients feel so at home in their new space, they can’t even remember the challenges it posed before.

When enjoying free time, her hands and mind are always busy, exploring her creativity by developing patterns and sewing bespoke clothing or enhancing the natural landscape surrounding the Christie home and studio.
