Eastmoreland Kitchen/Bath Remodel

Location: Portland, Oregon

This 1956 Eastmoreland home had few updates to it when the new owners took possession. The kitchen was small and dated, as were the bathrooms. The former kitchen and adjacent laundry were combined to create a new larger eat-in kitchen, relocating the laundry to an unused spot in the basement. The primary bedroom’s bath was shared with another bedroom. This secondary access was closed up and a large walk-in shower reclaimed the former circulatory space. The second bathroom also suffered for multiple doors making a cluttered layout. The secondary door was removed which allowed a sink room plus a separated, and more comfortable, shower and toilet room.
